Job Title

The role of an Audit Senior Associate is to perform audit procedures in complex areas, while building technical competence and functioning as the primary day-to-day contact for the audit client.

Audit Associates work with clients to provide an objective and independent examination of their financial statements, timely and constructive discussion with management on accounting and reporting matters, and a robust and clear perspective to audit committees.

This role involves working with our member firms and clients in onshore engagements. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and exhibiting a command of audit techniques and methods, ensuring best business practices are in place with client satisfaction.

A successful Audit Senior Associate should possess significant knowledge on audit methodology and techniques in performing and assisting in external, internal, or statutory audits.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with audit clients and engagement teams.
  • Directing field work and informing engagement leaders of audit engagement status timely.
  • Completing audit procedures and documentation for higher risk areas to broaden technical skills.
  • Contributing ideas/opinions to the audit teams.
  • Preparing draft financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102).
Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must have:

  • A bachelor's degree with minimum of 1-5 years of related work experience in a similar audit practice firm.
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or related field will be preferred. OR a graduate degree with approximately 1-5 years of related work experience in fields of statutory audits under US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS.
  • Experience in Accounts preparation under FRS 102 and relevant applicable standards will be an advantage.
