Job Overview:

  • Implement, configure, and operationalize project portfolio management tools for project controls supporting programs. Lead process configuration, cost control, forecasting, EVM integrations with upstream systems, and build standardized reporting analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure portfolios, projects, contracts modules; design cost classes, coding structures, WBS timesheet budget forecasting workflows, change controls, and governance templates.
  2. Establish baselines, progress capture, EACEVM calculations, variance analysis dashboards, implement standardized monthly cycle forecast accruals, KPIs.
  3. Orchestrate integrations between project management tools and ERP (e.g., SAP, CRM, SFDC, schedulers, Primavera P6, MS Project, EDW Snowflake, IICS) to enable single source reporting.
  4. Build portfolio and project dashboards, KPI cost schedule performance funding vs actuals leveraging reports align to reporting cadences.
  5. Translate governance into project processes, gates, approvals, auditability, author SOPs, Runbooks, and conduct user training.
  6. Engage program leads, finance controllers, PMs, and data teams; manage change requests and cutovers aligned to SoW deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years in PPM Project Controls, 3 years hands-on project management tool configuration and admin.
  • Strong cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and EVM knowledge, monthly close processes.
  • Proven integration experience with SAP, SFDC, EDW, Snowflake, IICS, or similar ETL ability to define source to project management tool mappings.
  • Reporting skills: native plus Power BI, Tableau for enterprise distribution.
  • Solid SQL data modelling fundamentals, Agile delivery, Scrum, SAFe.
