Nexus Developer - Grid Interface Expert
Role Overview:The Nexus Developer - Grid Interface Expert plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless grid connections and simulations. This position involves abstracting software requirements from grid code specifications, defining test plans for compliance and quality assurance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive optimal solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a deep understanding of grid code requirements and translate them into actionable software development processes.
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans for grid code compliance, covering wind farm, wind turbine, and component levels.
- Collaborate with sales and project teams to support grid code connection and compliance throughout the sales and project phases.
- Develop and maintain documentation for grid code compliance tests, including evaluation and analysis of test data.
- Analyze test results to identify areas for process optimization and improve overall grid code compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with Nordex product capabilities to ensure accurate assessment of grid code compliance.
- Proven experience with grid code requirements and test-driven development methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of grid code compliance on power plant level and software details necessary for achievement.
- Programming skills in Python or similar languages supporting test analysis and automation.
- Self-motivated, structured, customer- and solution-focused working mindset.
- Excellent intercultural understanding and ability to collaborate with global teams across functions and geographies.
- Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written; Spanish and/or German is an asset.
