Investment Opportunities Analyst

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key player in analyzing and driving investment opportunities to meaningful closure.

\

The incumbent will be part of a dynamic investment team, responsible for conducting thorough due diligence, presenting investment opportunities to the investment committee, negotiating transaction documents, and monitoring portfolio companies post-investment.

Key responsibilities include:

\
  • \
  • Analyzing potential investment opportunities\
  • Conducting analysis of macro and micro economic factors impacting target companies\
  • Preparing investment memos for presentation to the investment committee\
  • Engaging with external diligence agencies and lawyers to finalize due diligence and transaction documents\
  • Monitoring investee companies post-investment\
  • Taking corrective steps to improve performance of investee companies, if required\
  • Preparing internal discussion memos for investment appraisal of investee companies\
  • Taking recovery steps for realization of invested amount, if required\
  • Preparation of various communications to be sent out to investors\
  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant (Rankers/Freshers) or MBA\
  • Experience: 0-5 years\
  • Field of Experience: Debt investments/ credit evaluation\
  • In-depth understanding of Financial Statements\
  • Experience/knowledge of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and/or SARFAESI\
  • Proficiency with MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint\
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills and the ability to create/gather/analyze data\
  • Working knowledge of various databases\
