About This Role

We're looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics.

  • Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows is essential.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) is beneficial.

This role requires a high degree of organization, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  2. Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  3. Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and report status to stakeholders.
  4. Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.
  5. Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
  6. Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
