Financial Analyst Position

Job Summary:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in our team by preparing and analyzing financial models. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive financial projections based on historical financial statements, management briefings, company budgets, and estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements to understand the financial performance of companies.
  • Identify key Performance Indicators (KPIs), emerging trends, relevant industry updates, competitive environment, associated risks, and relevant valuation metrics to provide an overview and conclude investment thesis on companies under coverage.
  • Prepare detailed financial projections using various scenarios like management cases, sponsor cases, upside, and downside cases.
  • Normalize financial statements, create various recovery analyses for debt pieces using recovery values for each asset type.
  • Conduct extensive company valuations involving approaches such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Dividend Discount Model (DDM), trading multiples, and Economic Value Added (EVA).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA/CFA cleared with 4-6 years of experience in financial modeling, Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models, DCF/relative valuations.
  • Ability to identify and solve issues effectively and within deadlines.
  • Strong accounting, financial analysis skills, and English writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
