Job Title: Data Engineer

At Optisol Business Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and cloud-based data storage and processing platforms.
  • Develop and maintain data warehouses and data lakes using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Work with data analysts and data scientists to develop and implement data models and data architectures.
  • Ensure data quality and governance by implementing data validation and data quality checks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based data storage and processing platforms.
  • Proficient in Python and experience with data warehousing and storage technologies.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of data modelling and data architecture principles.
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms, such as Amazon S3, Azure Data Lake, or Google Cloud Storage.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline and ETL tools, such as Azure ADF, AWS Glue, Apache Kafka, or Informatica.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality tools, such as Talend, Informatica, or Trifacta.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills to work with data analysts and data scientists.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards related to data handling.
