Job Title: Informatics Implementation Manager

 

Job Description:

The role of the Informatics Implementation Manager is to oversee the implementation and support of informatics applications within an organization. This includes research informatics operations, ensuring that all applications are functioning correctly and efficiently.

The manager will be responsible for understanding critical business processes across various departments and suggesting solutions to meet their needs. They will work closely with scientists and vendors to develop and implement new projects, coordinating between teams as necessary.

This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving abilities. The ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential.

In addition to technical expertise, the candidate should have a strong background in scientific concepts, including calibration and basic statistics. Experience with software development life cycles and computer system validations is also highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Experience in demonstrating a track record of delivering scientific solutions in the pharmaceutical and CRO industry
  • Experience in implementing informatic applications like ELNB, LIMS, CDS, and other scientific applications
  • Strong background in scientific concepts, including calibration and basic statistics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with software development life cycles and computer system validations
