The Business Risk & Control Sr Supervisor provides leadership and supervisory responsibility to a team involved in performing monitoring functions for multiple functions and allied services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Timely execution of the Managers Control Assessment (MCA) program.
  2. Understanding of the Risk & Control framework and the underlying fundamentals on Risk Management.
  3. Supervise and manage teams involved in the end-to-end monitoring of controls as defined in the Risk Management policy.
  4. Lead/participate in strategic initiatives such as control performance enhancement.
  5. Involve in Control & Monitoring Design Assessment (CMDA) meetings and provide expertise/guidance in drafting procedures.
  6. Participate in leadership meetings to analyze documentation and processes to ensure risks and control points are properly addressed.
  7. Proactively identify any monitoring breaks and suggest enhancements.
  8. Partner with the onshore team and controls group and involve in Risk redesign or any other reengineering initiative.
  9. Ensure 100% delivery is achieved as per the agreed SLA.
  10. Manage a strong stakeholder connect through regular touchpoint meetings.

Team Management Responsibilities:

  1. Handle a team and ensure appropriate coaching and support is provided.
  2. Foster an environment of learning and development.
  3. Drive a strong emphasis on adherence to Citi culture, leading by example.
  4. Ensure a robust performance management system is followed.

Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of relevant experience in Operational Risk, including team management.
  2. Experience in working with various risk and control systems and reporting requirements.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Candidate-focused with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment collaborating across diverse groups.
  5. Demonstrated understanding of operational risk and gap identification.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  7. Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  8. Exhibit problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree.

Candidate should be willing to work in flexible shifts that can go up to late night India time.
