  • To drive growth and profitability, the Collection Manager will oversee collection activities for assigned areas and strive to achieve targets on various parameters. This includes resolution rates, flow management, credit costs, and roll rates, which vary depending on the bucket.
  • The role demands that Non-Performing Assets (NPAs) are kept within assigned limits, with proactive measures taken to minimize them. This requires close monitoring and control of NPAs.
  • The Collection Manager's primary objective is to boost fee income/revenue and develop initiatives to manage vendor payouts effectively. This involves analyzing and optimizing business processes to reduce unnecessary expenses.
  • Conduct thorough asset verifications and possessions as per SARFESI/Section 9 process through court receivers. This ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and maintains accurate records.
  • Track and control delinquency levels across the area, focusing on buckets and Days Past Due (DPD). Identify non-starters promptly and initiate corrective actions to prevent further deterioration.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues quickly, adhering to specified Turnaround Times (TAT). Maintain open communication channels with customers and address their concerns in a timely manner.
  • Develop relationships with key clients to facilitate timely collections. Regularly monitor defaulting customers and engage with them to understand the reasons behind their default behavior.
  • Represent the organization during interactions with legal/statutory bodies, ensuring adherence to legal guidelines provided by the law in force. Foster positive working relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Allocate work among field executives and ensure all agencies in the location operate within defined Service-Level Agreements (SLA). Monitor payments and audit receipts to guarantee they meet SLA requirements.
  • Maintain adequate Feet on Street presence, allocating resources according to area-wise, bucket-wise, or segment-wise needs. Obtain daily updates from executives regarding delinquent portfolios and conduct detailed account reviews for high-ticket accounts.
  • Guarantee compliance with all Audit/National Housing Bank/Internal Revenue Body regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
