Workday Functional Consultant Role

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders and Product Management to understand business requirements, processes, and needs.

  • Partnering with business stakeholders and Product Management to understand business requirements and processes.
  • Translating business requirements into effective Workday configurations that are scalable and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Configuring and maintaining Workday modules according to business requirements.
  • Preparing functional documentation, workflows, and support for testing and UAT cycles.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of Workday configurations and supporting change management activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
