Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of chip design, from RTL to GDS-II, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design complexity and plan physical design activities.
  • Interface with worldwide development teams to provide regular updates on chip development activities.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Work with other chip design teams to share best practices and drive innovation.
  • Develop expertise in power management design and stay up-to-date with advancements in chip design tools and technologies.
  • Lead silicon debug efforts to ensure robust functional silicon.

Deliverables and Projects:

  • Lead edge SoC development to grow TI market share in power ICs.
  • Work closely with worldwide firmware and systems teams to successfully design products.
  • Plan chip development strategy to deliver on-time products meeting high-performance and low-power goals.

Requirements:

  • B.Tech/M. Tech in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or VLSI.
  • 15+ years of experience in SoC/IP digital design (RTL to GDS-II).
  • Prior industry experience in managing a chip development team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and solid circuit theory fundamentals.
