Culinary Supervisor Role
The role of a Culinary Supervisor is to oversee the preparation and presentation of food products for various outlets. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to coordinate activities and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the preparation and presentation of food products for various outlets.
Coordinate activities to ensure efficient task completion.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
4-6 years of experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service.
Prior experience as Chef De Partie/Demi Chef De Partie is advantageous.
A culinary school degree is required.
Strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
Superior customer service, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing personalized services.
Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating skills.
Intermediate computer software skills required.
A good understanding of basic accounting principles.
