Job Title: Scheduling Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Scheduling Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of analytical thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and experience in workforce planning and scheduling.

  • Create, maintain, and optimize staff schedules that align with forecasted workloads.
  • Collaborate with workforce management teams to review forecasts and adjust schedules proactively.
  • Manage schedule changes, shift swaps, and time-off requests while ensuring service coverage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing staff schedules to meet business requirements. This includes collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and making adjustments as needed to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Management: Create, maintain, and optimize staff schedules to meet business needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to schedule conflicts, time-off requests, and other scheduling challenges.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience working as a Planning Analyst or in a workforce scheduling/forecasting role within a contact center.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of workforce planning, scheduling, and forecasting processes in a contact center environment, proficiency in data analysis and reporting, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with WFM Tools: Hands-on experience with workforce management (WFM) tools such as Aspect, Alvaria, JEX, NICE, Verint, or Calabrio.
  • Scenario Modeling: Experience in scenario modeling, understanding staffing cost implications, and planning across multiple channels.
