Job Title: Government Relations Lead

This is a dynamic role that involves building and maintaining networks with key government functionaries across relevant ministries and departments at the central, state, and district levels to establish strategic partnerships. These partnerships should align with the organization's mission of unlocking digital work opportunities for millions of Indians.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with relevant departments and stakeholders to secure large-scale buy-in for the organization's impactful initiatives. This includes mapping and systematically engaging with external stakeholders, including policymakers, think tanks, and CSO partners, to effectively present the organization's initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Indian policy landscape and government processes, as well as technical expertise in government financial rules and regulations. Project management expertise, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and large-scale initiatives, is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain networks with key government functionaries
  • Engage with relevant departments and stakeholders to secure large-scale buy-in
  • Map and systematically engage with external stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze national and state policy landscapes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align government partnerships with organizational goals

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Business, or a related field
  • 10-12 years of experience working with and managing government stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of the Indian policy landscape and government processes
  • Technical expertise in government financial rules and regulations
  • Project management expertise
