Job Role Overview

As a key member of our finance team, you will be entrusted with critical functions that support the company's growth and financial health.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Closure of Financial Records: Manage and ensure timely and accurate closure of the company's books of accounts on a monthly and annual basis.
  2. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Prepare and review Management Information Systems (MIS) reports, providing insights and recommendations for business decision-making.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Oversee and ensure compliance with key regulations including the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other indirect taxes.
  4. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and bring efficiencies in existing financial systems and practices.
  5. Strategic Financial Planning: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic financial planning.
  6. Preparation of Financial Statements: Assist in the preparation and presentation of the company's financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)/ MBA-Finance with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience or completed articleship.
  • Background in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, exposure to healthcare or startup environments is considered a plus.
  • Deep understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and indirect tax regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide actionable insights from financial data.
  • Proficiency in Financial Software: Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (Zoho books), along with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, and senior management.
  • A meticulous approach to managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
