Senior System Engineer - Chiller Plants

A senior systems engineer position focused on end-to-end project execution and management of IBMS systems, MEP services, and central chiller plants for large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Role Overview:
  • This role involves project execution and coordination, including managing the installation, testing & commissioning of central chiller plants, AHUs, cooling towers, pumps, valves, piping, and controls. Additionally, integrating IBMS platforms with chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical panels, and safety systems is key.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Execution & Coordination:
  • Execute large-scale infrastructure projects involving IBMS systems, MEP services, and central chiller plants.
  • Manage Installation, Testing & Commissioning (ITC) of chiller plants, AHUs, cooling towers, pumps, valves, piping, and controls.
  • Integrate IBMS platforms with chillers, HVAC equipment, electrical panels, and safety systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Ensure project milestones are met as per schedule by coordinating with vendors, OEMs, consultants, and internal teams.
Technical Review:
  • Review MEP and IBMS design drawings, BOQ, equipment specifications, and shop drawings to validate system architecture.
  • Validate system architecture for BMS, HVAC, Chiller Plant Manager (CPM), SCADA/DCS, and utility monitoring systems to ensure adherence to industry standards.
Quality Assurance & Safety Management:
  • Implement QA/QC checks for equipment installation, piping, cabling, and control systems to ensure quality delivery.
  • Enforce HSE practices during site execution in compliance with safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Operations & Handover:
  • Conduct performance testing of chiller plants and IBMS dashboards to ensure optimal plant operation.
  • Optimize plant operation through automation, control strategies, and energy efficiency to reduce costs.
  • Prepare O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and training sessions for facility teams to ensure smooth handover.
