Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Airfield Engineer to fill the role of Principal Engineer in our team. This is a critical position that requires the right candidate to lead and guide us in achieving our goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering airfield civil engineering design and maintenance projects through various stages of design from feasibility studies to detailed design and onto construction for clients worldwide.

As a Principal Engineer, you will take ownership of project delivery, giving leadership and direction to junior team members, planning their work, and managing the delivery of multiple technical engineering projects.

You will also lead and undertake the preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications related to airfield engineering projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure design at airports.
  • Civil engineering experience working on large, technically complex multi-disciplinary airport projects from concept through to detailed design and construction support.
  • Experience managing engineering professionals in the delivery of technical aviation projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills when providing design information or interacting with team members, industry associates, and clients.
  • Competent self-leadership with attention to detail, multitasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team to meet business objectives both in the UK and India.
