Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Solutions Engineer to lead our Professional Services organization.

This individual will act as a subject matter expert for networking and software-defined networking (SDN) technologies, working closely with Systems Integrations team, Engineering teams, and PreSales engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in enterprise networking and a strong understanding of modern virtualized and cloud-native networking approaches, including OpenStack Neutron, VMware NSX, OVN/OVS, Calico, Cilium, and related technologies.

Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies in multi-vendor environments is essential.

Expertise in routing, switching, VLANs, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, and related protocols is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert network design and troubleshooting guidance to the Professional Services Systems Integrations team for Private Cloud Director (PCD) deployments.
  • Partner with Engineering to address network architecture challenges, influence product design for better interoperability, and resolve complex escalations.
  • Support pre-sales engineers in designing network architectures for customer proposals, POCs, and technical validations.

This role will require excellent communication skills for technical and executive-level discussions, as well as the ability to translate complex networking concepts into clear guidance for customers and teammates.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience automating network provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell or Python.
  • Familiarity with load balancers, firewalls, and security policy automation.
  • Vendor certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, JNCIE, VCAP-NV, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Experience authoring technical whitepapers or contributing to open-source networking projects.
