Senior Data Engineering Manager Position Available

  • A leading organization seeks an experienced Senior Data Engineering Manager to lead our Data Engineering team.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, excellent technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role in shaping the future of data-driven decision making within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in OLAP design and deep understanding of data warehousing concepts: star/snowflake schema, ETL/ELT processes, normalization/denormalization, and data modeling.
  • Utilize experience in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, window functions, and optimization techniques.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake: warehouses, data ingestion with snow pipe, external integrations, working all types of views & tables, UDFs, procedures, streams, tasks and serverless, data masking.
  • Promote Snowflake-specific features, including clustering, partitioning, and schema design best practices.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Enterprise-level Data Engineering roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data engineering principles, including data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
