Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented pharmacist to manage and oversee pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, providing expert advice on dosage and medication use.
- Manage inventory levels, sourcing stock from in-house pharmacies if necessary, to ensure 100% prescription fulfilment.
- Provide patients with detailed information on medication usage, potential side effects, and health advice to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain a register for delivery requests and follow up to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medicines.
- Manage inbound calls, providing drug information, patient education, and responding to queries related to drug therapy and home delivery orders.
- Assist with cash transactions and billing at the counter when needed.
- Ensure proper storage and security measures are in place for all medications.
- Conduct thorough checks of received stock, including quantity, MRP, batch number, and expiry date, before entering data into the system.
- Accurately input stock data into the system and cross-check received items against store inventory records to maintain accuracy.
- Perform regular physical stock counts, categorizing by type (e.g., Tablets, Syrups, Injections, etc.) twice a week, and verify fast-moving items daily.
- Ensure compliance with state and national pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.
