">Biology Researcher - Advanced Problem Solving

We are seeking a highly skilled PhD-level researcher in Biology to test the reasoning capabilities of large language models.

As a researcher, you will create Biology problems, analyze model responses, and identify gaps in logic or understanding. The goal is to measure how well these models handle abstract thinking and structured problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the logic behind researcher claims on immune signaling and determine accurate biological functions.
  • Review a student's strategy for studying plant stress genes and assess reasoning with suggestions for refinement.

Requirements:

  • A Ph.D. or Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples.
  • Strong written communication, especially in remote settings.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Stable computer and internet access.

Engagement Details:

  • Minimum 4 hours per day and 20 hours per week with overlap in PST.
  • Contractor assignment/freelancer engagement type.
  • Duration of contract: 1 month.
