Job Overview

As a key member of our team, we are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.

This role requires strong technical expertise in AWS architecture, with a focus on DevOps, development, and security. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust AWS solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust AWS solutions
  • Implement AWS monitoring systems and security measures to safeguard AWS environments
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
  • Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security
  • Respond to systems alerts, investigate and resolve related system failures, and recover/restore failed systems and applications
  • Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs for team members
  • Mentor other team members in all facets listed above
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7 to 9 years of experience in information technology
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM
  • Experience with repository management (Git)
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible Tower, and AWS CloudFormation
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels of the organization
  • Process and technical documentation skills
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Scripting capability and ability to develop scripted AWS infrastructure
  • General understanding of multi-region and hybrid cloud architectures
