Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Testing and Tooling Expert to join our team.

  • This role is part of the Testing Release team, providing support for Test Management, Test Execution, and Tool support and admin.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform risk assessments and produce Test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Approaches, Test Cases, and Test Scripts.
  2. Prepare and execute testing for Project BAU fixes/changes, ensuring compliance with the Global Test Strategy.
  3. Deliver timely and effective reporting and communication of plans, progress, and issues.
  4. Resolve issues proactively with Support teams.
  5. Collaborate with 3rd party teams to ensure correct and on-time delivery of testing.
  6. Set up Jira/Zephyr for Project BAU testing activities.
  7. Maintain Automated scripts.
  8. Serve as a point of reference for Business UAT.
  9. Support execution of Test Scripts by Business Users.
  10. Evaluate escalation risks.
  11. Communicate complex issues in a digestible form to both Business and Technical teams.
  12. Provide out-of-hours testing support, including Releases into Production environments.
  13. Offer assistance to the Release team at critical times.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Testing throughout the full SDLC (Management Execution).
  • Familiarity with Test Management Tools, such as Jira, ALM, and/or others.
  • Knowledge of Automation tools.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational abilities.
  • Finance and business process understanding.
  • Awareness of how ERP Finance systems function in large organisations.
  • High motivation, flexibility, and ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong risk awareness and management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple activities simultaneously.
