**Job Title:** Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced professional to take on a key role in our development team. As a skilled Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining database solutions that meet application needs and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Development: Develop, test and deploy Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts, packages, procedures, functions and triggers.
  • Optimization and Tuning: Optimize and tune SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency, working closely with application developers.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in a development environment.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance.
  • Familiarity with database design principles and data modelling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for database code management.
  • Knowledge of database security practices and data integrity concepts.
