Database Administrator

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and maintaining mission-critical databases to ensure optimal performance, availability, security, and scalability.

  • Lead and execute complex SQL Server upgrade projects, including migration from legacy versions to SQL Server 2022.
  • Design and manage Always On Availability Groups (HA/DR) in production environments.
  • Plan and implement database migrations to AWS (RDS, EC2, or other services) with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL Server performance.
  • Perform regular backups, restores, and disaster recovery testing.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA in enterprise environments.
  • Proven expertise upgrading SQL Server to 2022 in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Always On Availability Groups and other HA/DR solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS database migration (DMS, RDS, EC2, or hybrid solutions).
  • Proficiency in T-SQL development, performance tuning, and query optimization.
  • Solid understanding of backup/recovery strategies and database security.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell or automation tools for database administration is a plus.
