Job Title: Actuarial Team Lead - Data Visualisation

This role involves overseeing the work of junior colleagues, checking for technical accuracy and clarity. The incumbent will also mentor and guide junior colleagues in their development of technical and softer skills.

The successful candidate will contribute to improving data quality, processes, and controls in reserving and pricing workflows. They will assist with performance optimisation and segmentation analysis to inform underwriting decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the work of junior colleagues and check for technical accuracy and clarity
  • Mentor and guide junior colleagues in their development of technical and softer skills
  • Contribute to improving data quality, processes, and controls in reserving and pricing workflows
  • Assist with performance optimisation and segmentation analysis

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a non-life insurance actuarial role
  • Experience delegating to and/or reviewing the work of other actuarial analysts
  • Completed actuarial exams or willingness to complete the full qualification
  • Relevant numerate degree with strong academic background
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced level of MS Excel, VBA, SQL, Python or similar coding experience
  • Keen interest in data visualisation for business intelligence
