Strategic Director of Client Onboarding

The successful candidate will lead a team of specialists responsible for performing KYC processes, including customer due diligence and risk assessment. They will ensure accurate maintenance of customer records in accordance with relevant policies and standards.
The role involves management of operational manuals, participation in global projects relating to onboarding and KYC processes, and governance of customer key data elements throughout the client lifecycle.
- Management duties: Determine relevant performance indicators, govern customer key data elements, lead personnel, assign work schedules, apply standard procedures, produce regular reporting, identify operational risks, and establish control.
- KYC related subject matter expertise: Support global KYC projects, maintain working knowledge of regulatory obligations, provide thought leadership in multi-disciplinary teams, develop strategic partnerships, and report to management.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in BSA/AML in the financial services industry.
- Experience in periodic review process.
- Strong background in KYC operations with ability to perform analysis at various aspects to ensure smooth operations.
- Firm understanding of bank products and services.
- Ability to think critically under pressure and deliver sound judgment.
