Job Overview

The Maintenance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless plant operations, encompassing the efficient functioning of machinery and equipment within the Maintenance Department. This includes meeting predetermined production targets with desired quality within set timelines.

  • Efficient maintenance strategies are implemented to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Proactive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance programs are developed and implemented for machines to enhance overall performance.
  • Machine control panels are redesigned and reconditioned to boost equipment efficiency.
  • Spares are procured and maintained, breakdowns analyzed, and corrective and preventive actions implemented.
  • Maintenance crew members are trained and guided in troubleshooting, modifying circuits, and mechanisms.
  • Contribution to and independent work in strategic planning for various maintenance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute maintenance operations to meet production goals.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies.
  • Enhance equipment performance through panel redesign and reconditioning.
  • Procure and maintain spares, analyze breakdowns, and implement corrective actions.
  • Train and guide maintenance crew.
  • Contribute to strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • 15-20 years of experience in a maintenance department.
  • Experience with PLC-based special purpose machines and utilities.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, computers, and automation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analyzing skills.
  • Competent in material procurement, vendor development, and negotiation.
  • B.E/Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical)

  • Age 35 and above

  • Legal compliance (Factory Act) and environmental norms.
