Job Opportunity: Enterprise Data Architect

We are seeking a seasoned data architect to spearhead the development of advanced data management and analytics solutions across our enterprise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Design & Integration: Develop robust data pipelines and integrations within SAP Datasphere and associated SAP environments to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Data Modeling & Pipelines: Create logical and physical data models, replication flows, ETL processes, and task chains to optimize data efficiency.
  • Data Governance & Security: Implement effective data governance and security protocols, including tenant setup, user roles, object- & row-level security, and metadata catalogs for compliance.
  • API & Third-party Integration: Establish connections between SAP and non-SAP systems, develop APIs, and deliver datasets to business intelligence platforms.
  • Migration & Lifecycle Management: Manage content and version control across development, test, and production systems using SAP BW Bridge.
  • Performance Monitoring: Optimize model and query performance, monitor data flows, and ensure reliability.
  • Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Supply Chain), mentor junior staff, and provide support in pre-sales or requirements gathering.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in SAP Datasphere with multiple end-to-end implementations.
  • Strong Data Modeling Skills: Proficiency in SQL, CDS, and graph data modeling.
  • Replication, ETL, Task Chains: Hands-on experience with replication, ETL processes, and task chains.
  • Security Design: Expertise in security design, including roles, scopes, and cataloging.
  • Integration Experience: Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAC, external APIs, and scripting languages (SQL, Python, JavaScript).
  • SAP BTP Architecture & Cloud Security: Understanding of SAP BTP architecture and cloud security principles.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, Sales).
  • BI Tools Experience: Experience with BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Mentorship & Training: Ability to mentor junior colleagues and train them on technical aspects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications: Certifications in SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, or SAC.
  • SAC Scripting & Predictive Analytics: Experience with SAC scripting or predictive analytics is a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 Years Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP BW/HANA analytics.
  • SAP Datasphere Project Work: At least 2 years of SAP Datasphere-focused project work.
