Job Title: Software Engineering Associate Advisor

As a skilled technical professional, you will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our mainframe systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing complex software applications using COBOL.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining mainframe applications using COBOL.
  • Designing and implementing efficient database solutions using PostgreSQL and Oracle.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to database performance and system stability.
  • Creating and maintaining scripts in Unix to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Participating in daily team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and challenges.
  • Monitoring system logs and identifying areas for improvement.

Required Skills:

  • 8-11 years of experience with hands-on experience in Unix, COBOL, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
  • Proficiency in Unix scripting and ability to automate tasks.
  • Good knowledge of state management libraries like Redux.
  • Working knowledge of tools like GIT, Jenkins, Sonar Qube, and OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
  • Prior industry experience in pharmacy or healthcare preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.

Required Experience & Education:

  • 8-11 years of experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
