Accounting Specialist Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks including data entry bank reconciliations and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entries prepare and assist in day-to-day operations in accounting including managing and maintaining full sets of accounting books.
  • Reconcile bank statements monitor cash books and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements and other relevant accounting schedules.
  • Ensure entities are in compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns and GST returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentations to support external and internal audits.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and tasks as assigned by immediate superiors.

Requirements:

  • Mid-level candidates with a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Experience in SAP Xero Tally accounting softwares preferred.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in accounting or other professional accounting qualification with working knowledge of India FRS / IFRS standards.
