Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for steering the company towards continued success, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining our leadership position in the edible oil market. This is a senior leadership role that demands an in-depth understanding of edible oil manufacturing, trading operations, and stakeholder management combined with the ability to lead large teams and build strong relationships with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and distributors. The CEO will be a key driver in setting business strategies, optimizing operations, and positioning the company for long-term growth in a competitive and evolving market.

Key Responsibilities

As the CEO, you will be responsible for the overall success of the business, encompassing the following areas:


1. Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define and execute a long-term vision that aligns with the company's growth objectives and market leadership in the edible oil industry.
  • Lead the development of corporate strategies, identifying opportunities for market penetration, diversification, and expansion.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behavior, and technological advancements to ensure the business is future-ready.

2. Manufacturing & Operational Efficiency

  • Oversee and optimize the entire manufacturing process, from raw material sourcing to final product delivery, ensuring top-notch quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement advanced manufacturing technologies and lean practices to drive efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance output.
  • Ensure all operational activities comply with industry standards and environmental regulations.

3. Trading & Business Development

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for both domestic and international markets, leveraging a deep understanding of the edible oil trading landscape.
  • Explore and capitalize on new market opportunities, creating a robust trading network and optimizing supply chain operations.
  • Build strategic partnerships and alliances with key industry players, retailers, and distributors.

4. Stakeholder & Regulatory Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, suppliers, distributors, and investors.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
  • Act as the company's representative in public forums, trade shows, and with government bodies, strengthening the brand's presence and credibility.

5. Financial & Operational Governance

  • Lead the organization's financial planning, budgeting, and performance review processes, ensuring fiscal responsibility and profitability.
  • Provide oversight for P&L management, ensuring growth targets are met while controlling costs and maximizing resource utilization.
  • Make data-driven decisions to scale the business sustainably, leveraging financial insights and market analysis.

6. Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Mentor and develop key leaders across the organization to ensure seamless succession planning and leadership continuity.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment that attracts top talent and encourages professional growth.

7. Sustainability & Corporate Responsibility

  • Champion sustainability initiatives in line with global environmental standards, ensuring that the company remains socially responsible and eco-friendly.
  • Drive efforts to reduce the company's carbon footprint, optimizing the use of natural resources and energy in the production process.
  • Engage with community programs and CSR activities, reinforcing the company's commitment to corporate citizenship.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 20-25 years of experience in the Edible Oil industry, with significant exposure to manufacturing, trading, and stakeholder management.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in leading large-scale manufacturing operations and driving organizational growth in a competitive market.
  • Strong understanding of the domestic and international edible oil markets, including evolving consumer preferences, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscapes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's vision for growth and market leadership.
  • Expertise in P&L management, financial analysis, and budgeting, with a history of driving profitability and revenue growth.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including government authorities, suppliers, and investors.
  • Strong ethical compass, with a commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
