Job Title

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to lead our Primary Years Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and review the curriculum in alignment with IB guidelines, fostering a student-centered environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the PYP, promoting inquiry and reflection.
  • Provide guidance and support for teachers in developing transdisciplinary units and inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • Organize and lead professional development workshops and training sessions for staff.
  • Engage with parents and the school community to promote understanding of the PYP.
  • Coordinate and support student assessments, maintaining records as per IB requirements.
  • Stay updated with IB developments, ensuring the school's adherence to IB standards.
  • Facilitate communication between all stakeholders, including teachers, parents, and the IB organization.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching and a strong understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to professional growth.
