Job Overview

As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with clients to deliver outcomes that meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Statements of Work (SoWs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement GCP resources, including BigQuery, Databricks, and Kubernetes.
  • Architect and design data architectures tailored to specific business needs.
  • Analyze and optimize data processing workloads to improve performance and reduce costs.
  • Implement monitoring and performance metrics for data pipelines and applications.
  • Develop strategies for cost-effective resource usage, including budget tracking and optimization techniques.

Requirements

  • Expertise in GCP services, particularly BigQuery, Databricks, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Proven track record in optimizing data processing and query performance in BigQuery.
  • Proficient in deploying and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with GCP billing and cost management tools to monitor and optimize cloud expenditure.
