Ecommerce Strategist

This role oversees the entire e-commerce business, encompassing revenue, margins, and customer acquisition costs.

A comprehensive growth strategy will be crafted and executed across various channels, including direct-to-consumer, marketplaces, offline, and emerging markets.

Forecast demand and manage inventory end-to-end, ensuring stock-out rates are below 2% and ageing stock rates are below 4%.

Determine product-market fit; adapt product lines for regional regulations and preferences.

Develop a 360-degree marketing approach, allocating budgets for maximum return on ad spend.

Establish data pipelines and dashboards to track cohorts, repeat rates, and marketplace rankings in real-time.

Negotiate with logistics providers, payment partners, and consultants to optimize landed costs and service level agreements.

Recruit, mentor, and performance-manage cross-functional teams.

Promote customer obsession; utilize voice of customer insights to drive product updates and customer experience enhancements.

Foster strategic partnerships with wellness chains, tourism boards, and Ayurveda clinics to expand reach.

Ensure compliance with laws and taxes, including cosmetics claims, import duties, and data protection regulations.

Present quarterly business reviews to leadership, highlighting successes, risks, and future opportunities.

Implement a test-and-learn culture, running A/B tests on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers.

Develop disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply chain, logistics, advertising, and key seller accounts.

Analyze competition; provide actionable intelligence on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity.
