Senior Leadership Position in Power Electronics

This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategy, operations, and product development within the power electronics sector.

The company plans to develop design and specifications for third-party manufacturers. You will be responsible for developing vendors and assuring process and product quality.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, or a related field; PhD preferred. He/She should also have 20+ years of progressive experience in R&D/plant operations within the power electronics domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the overall vision and strategy for power electronics products and operations.
  • Product Development
    • Oversee the entire product development process from concept to release, ensuring alignment with market needs and technological advancements.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Manage daily operations, including project planning, resource allocation, and vendor management.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, mentor, and develop teams, providing feedback and training to enhance skills and performance.
  • Business Growth
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps and achieve business goals.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify potential risks in programs and provide guidance for mitigation.
  • Market Strategy
    • Contribute to marketing efforts and support product offerings for specific markets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
  • 20+ years of progressive experience in R&D/plant operations within the power electronics domain.
  • Strong knowledge of power semiconductor devices, embedded systems, control algorithms, and hardware design.
