Electrical Systems Engineer

The ideal candidate will lead electrical system and power electronics design activities, defining architecture, system, and component-level requirements.

  • Lead electrical system and power electronics design activities, ensuring compliance with certification standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform analysis (FMECA, simulations, modeling) on new architectures/products, validating performance and reliability.
  • Develop designs, documents, and test plans for electrical systems, ensuring integration and interoperability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish scope and framework for standardization of integration processes and common tools identification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems and power electronics, including circuit design, simulations, and analysis.
  • Validate electrical system designs through testing and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, and procedures for electrical systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industries.
  • Strong knowledge of power supply design, power converters, analog and digital control, MOSFETs/GaNs, gate driver circuitry, transformer/inductor design, and PCB design.
  • Experience with Spice, MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, and Eagle/OrCad/Altium software.
  • Familiarity with Solar arrays/MPPT/Battery/BMS/Wiring Harness topics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with component level and system level certification and standards.
  • Knowledge of Aerospace/Automotive domains.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Power Electronics/Equivalent.
