The Finance & Project Accounting Manager role is a critical position within our organization, requiring an individual with exceptional financial expertise and leadership skills.

- Project Set-Up: Establish projects in ERP systems (Deltek Vision/Tally) according to company policy.
- Documentation Management: Collect and maintain legal documentation for sub-consultants.
- Financial Reporting: Provide financial reports, forecasts, and profitability analyses, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Revenue Recognition: Ensure revenue recognition compliance with GAAP ASC 606 and other standards.
- Invoicing and Requisitions: Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare monthly invoices and requisition forms.
- Collections and Overdue Accounts: Support collections and resolve overdue accounts in coordination with leadership.
- Project Close-Out: Assist with project close-out in accordance with company policy.
- Corporate Accounting: Maintain accurate corporate (Deltek Vision) and local accounting records.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, expense coding, reimbursements, and cash application.
- Financial Statements: Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, management reports) and cash flow forecasts.
- Tax Compliance: Handle tax computations, filings, and local compliance requirements.
- Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset registers and financial schedules.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Auditor Support: Assist auditors with year-end closing and documentation.
- Payroll Processing: Manage payroll processing and employee cash advances.
- Compliance and Registrations: Maintain statutory registrations, certificates, and office compliance records.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years' accounting experience in a professional services environment; AEC industry preferred.
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years' supervisory or management experience.
- ERP Experience: ERP experience (Deltek Vision required; Tally experience a plus).
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Financial Knowledge: Familiarity with US-GAAP, IFRS, and IND-AS.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Independence and Accuracy: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ethics and Confidentiality: Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with financial regulations.
