Data Science Specialist

Job Summary:

A highly skilled Data Scientist will develop, implement, and optimize data models for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models (e.g., supervised, unsupervised) to solve complex business problems.
  • Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and deep learning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging machine learning in products and services.
  • Design and optimize algorithms used in models to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze model performance and user data to refine strategies.
  • Analyze and preprocess large datasets to train and validate models effectively.
  • Document methodologies and processes for future reference.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on machine learning technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in machine learning, with a strong focus on model development and deployment.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Julia.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and algorithm design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing environments.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision (CV), or other AI-related applications.
  • Contributions to open source projects or published research in machine learning.
