Collibra Governance Expert

As a seasoned professional, you will lead enterprise-wide governance initiatives and take ownership of our Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. This high-visibility role involves defining and scaling Collibra practices, working with senior stakeholders, and influencing data culture across the organization.

  • Implement and administer Collibra across the enterprise, designing and configuring the Operating Model (domains, assets, workflows, and roles).
  • Build and optimize custom workflows using BPMN and Workflow Designer, integrating Collibra with various platforms via APIs/connectors.
  • Partner with data owners, stewards, and leadership to enforce governance policies and data stewardship models, establishing frameworks for data cataloging, lineage, metadata, and quality management.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and best practices to business and technical teams, acting as the Collibra SME and evangelist.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in data governance, metadata management, or data quality.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Collibra experience, including platform configuration, workflow design, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship, and lifecycle management.
  • Expertise with Collibra APIs, BPMN, and scripting (Groovy, JavaScript).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale Collibra deployments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
