Job Title: Microsoft Purview Consultant

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive the design, implementation, and adoption of comprehensive data governance solutions across enterprise environments.

  • Lead the deployment and management of data protection policies for compliance and risk management.
  • Define and implement classification frameworks and sensitivity labels across various environments.
  • Configure and manage DLP, insider risk management, records management, and eDiscovery in Microsoft Purview.
  • Integrate Purview with security and compliance tools for end-to-end enforcement.
  • Assess current data estate, identify gaps, and propose remediation strategies.
  • Support data cataloging, lineage tracking, and metadata management to strengthen governance.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and business teams to ensure alignment with regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO, SOX, etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver technical documentation, training, and workshops.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Purview and its integrations.
Key Qualifications:
  • 5–7 years of experience in data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Purview, including Compliance Manager, DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk, eDiscovery, and Records Management.
  • Proven track record with data classification, sensitivity labels, and retention policies.
  • Deep understanding of data security and compliance capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Azure services, security features, and compliance requirements.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
