Job Title: Enterprise IT Project Director

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Director to lead large-scale, complex IT projects from initiation through delivery. This key role is responsible for ensuring successful project execution, aligning with business objectives and overseeing cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply IT project management methodologies and frameworks to drive project success.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Lead all project phases – initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure – ensuring timely completion and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Define project scope, roles, tasks, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed project estimates and execution plans, incorporating risk mitigation strategies.
  • Capture and validate accurate business requirements through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and records.
  • Facilitate daily coordination and ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Act as liaison between project teams, vendors, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Monitor project status, manage risks/issues, and develop mitigation plans to minimize impact.
  • Ensure proper financial management, delivery quality, and compliance with policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions and document best practices for future project improvements.
