Job Title: Civil Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to supervise day-to-day site activities, ensuring work execution as per drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.

You will coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure smooth project execution, monitor and manage resources such as manpower, materials, and machinery efficiently.

In addition, you will ensure timely completion of project milestones as per schedule, maintain site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurement.

You will also assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work bills, conduct quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc.

Furthermore, you will ensure compliance with IS codes, company standards, and safety norms, resolve site-related technical issues in coordination with project managers and consultants.

Above all, effective communication with the project team, clients, and management is essential for success in this role.

Key Skills Required:
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools (preferred)
  • Good leadership and team coordination skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Willingness to work at project sites across Tamil Nadu
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 1 - 3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development and land use permitting
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
