Job Title: Senior Operations Manager

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned operations professional to lead and oversee all operational aspects of our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event operations, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Event Management: Manage logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and team management for MICE events.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead the operations team, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Business Alignment: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and client relations to align operational execution with business goals.
  • Supplier Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, venues, and service providers.
  • Event Execution: Conduct site inspections, assess venues, and ensure all event requirements are met.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and evaluate operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and drive cost optimization.
  • Risk Management: Handle risk management and contingency planning for seamless event delivery.
  • Reporting: Prepare operational reports and MIS for senior management and clients.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years in event operations or related roles, with 3+ years in MICE operations leadership.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the MICE industry, event management best practices, and vendor management.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, event management software, and reporting tools.
