Medical Billing Specialist

A medical billing specialist will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks related to patient insurance coverage and payment processing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in working with healthcare systems.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient insurance coverage and eligibility
  • Review coverage details for smooth patient and provider experiences
  • FOLLOW UP on authorizations obtained
  • Evaluate patient liability and expected insurance payments
  • Accurately review and post charges for medical services provided by healthcare providers
  • Analyze patient encounter documentation to ensure accurate charge capture and code assignment
  • Collaborate with coding professionals to verify code accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Adhere to billing and coding compliance guidelines
  • Maintain high accuracy in charge entry, minimizing errors
  • Meet or exceed productivity and timeliness targets for charge posting
  • Prioritize workload effectively for timely and accurate charge entry
  • Maintain accurate records and metrics related to charge posting activities
  • Prepare reports and analysis as needed, highlighting trends and performance indicators
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience in handling denials and insurance claims
  • Skills: Proficiency in Medicare billing processes, Strong attention to detail and accuracy, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Experience working in a healthcare setting

This is a full-time on-site role at our Ahmedabad office. Salary is not a constraint for the right candidate. This is a Work from Office Role in Ahmedabad with US Shifts.
