Senior IT Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Specialist to support our admin activities for AVEVA E3D projects. This role involves setting up projects for AVEVA E3D and day-to-day administration tasks, as well as managing the delivery of project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Set-up and Administration: Establish and manage AVEVA E3D projects from setup to completion.
  • PDMS E3D Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of PDMS E3D, Paragon, PML, CATS, and SPECS software packages.
  • Database Creation: Create PDMS E3D database structures to enable 3D design and subsequent creation of deliverables.
  • Model Creation: Develop PDMS E3D models based on 3D modeling procedures with required databases, teams, and users.
  • Procedure Establishment: Establish procedures and specifications for projects and company standards relating to the use of PDMS E3D.
  • User Training: Provide end-user training on the usage of customization and interact directly with users, discipline leads, and document requirements and special needs related to project designs and needs.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with designers from respective engineering disciplines to meet project deliverables with timeliness and quality.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues, follow up for quick resolution, and perform routine checks on models through data verification and project auditing.
  • ISODRAFT Module Setup: Setup ISODRAFT module for generating isometrics as per project client specifications documents, resolve and troubleshoot isometric errors, and update model review files in NAVIS WORKS format on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Degree: Degree in engineering or equivalent technical diploma.
  • Software Knowledge: Strong understanding of current engineering design, drafting applications, and engineering data integration software packages.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in PDMS E3D Administration.
  • International Codes and Standards: Good understanding of engineering practices, project execution concepts, and international codes and standards such as ANSI, ASTM, API, ASME, and BS.
