Secure the Future of E-commerce Payments

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining our payments solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and design robust backend systems using microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations and estimations to deliver high-quality solutions;
  • Design and implement RESTful web services using Java 11+ and Spring framework;
  • Collaborate with QA CoP teams to integrate quality assurance tooling and processes within your team's application;
  • Promote test automation best practices through unit tests, integration tests, e2e tests, and performance tests;
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, development, testing, and deployment;
  • Deploy applications on the cloud using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform;
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and incident coordination in an agile and collaborative environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent English communication skills;
  • 6+ years of experience with Java 11+ and Spring framework;
  • 2+ years of practical application of TDD/BDD principles;
  • 3+ years of experience working within Agile practices and understanding Agile values and principles.
Nice to Have
  • Experience integrating with payment gateways such as Klarna;
  • Recent hands-on experience with end-to-end payment processes and systems, especially integration with PayPal via providers like Adyen;
  • Understanding of frontend technologies like React, NPM, JavaScript, and Angular is beneficial.
