Technical Program Manager Role Overview

This role will be responsible for managing high-priority, high-profile programs and working closely with engineering and product leaders to drive critical projects in the organization. Successful candidates will have a solid track record of program management and demonstrated excellent technical, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed plans with key milestones and goals, identify and mitigate risks, solve for dependencies, remove impediments, and ensure timely and smooth program launches.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects/programs, leveraging deep technical expertise to drive focus on strategic and tactical objectives.
  • Drive teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs, ensuring cross-team alignment on goals, priorities, roadmap, schedules, communications, and releases to all stakeholders.
  • Provide reporting on project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans, identifying gaps, unblocking issues, and driving alignment between groups and functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 8+ years of full-time technical program management experience within an engineering or technical team.
  • B.S./B.A. degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple major and concurrent projects/programs.
  • Significant experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams, individual contributors, and external clients.
  • Knowledge of complex technical ecosystems and adequate technical depth.
