Archival Consultant Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the secure and efficient management of data throughout its lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Server Administration:
  • Maintain Windows fileserver authorization and permissions
  • Configure new folders with authentication on existing Windows fileserver
  • Perform annual access audits of overall fileserver
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to Windows fileserver authorization
  • Divestment:
  • Transfer archived data to buyers
  • Extract and transfer archived documents to buyers, creating comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities
  • Software Management:
  • Install and update Enterprise Scan application
  • Install and update WinViewer application
  • Troubleshoot software-related issues
  • SAP Data Archiving:
  • Activate and deactivate archive infrastructure
  • Run catchup archiving for new archive objects
  • Run sweeper for existing archive objects
  • Reporting Responsibility:
  • Provide regular progress updates in Agile ceremonies
  • Update work items in ADO board and team OneNote
  • Incident Management and Resolution:
  • Assess and resolve incidents and tickets during Bangkok work hours
  • Collaborate with XOM technical teams to ensure timely issue resolution
  • SAP ILM Retention Management:
  • Assist project teams in testing archive functionalities

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical skills in server administration, software management, and data archiving
  • Experience working with SAP systems and technologies such as Enterprise Scan and WinViewer

Deliverables include:

  • Proper incident and problem management solutions
  • Successful and error-free SAP maintenance activities
  • Completed assigned ADO user stories
  • High-quality documentation of lessons learned and undocumented problem solutions
